Flight Computer

The AVA 1 Flight computer was based on the following hardware :

• ATMEL ATMEGA32-PU with Arduino Boot loader
• Inventek ISM300 V0004 High Altitude GPS
• Radiometrix NTX2
• Maxim DS18B20 Temperature sensors

Flight Computer

The AVA 2 Flight computer will be a custom PCB based on the following hardware :

• ATMEL ATMEGA328 with Arduino Boot loader. Design is loosely based round an Arduino Pro 3.3v @ 8Mhz.
• uBlox NEO-6Q GPS Module with on board Sarantel 1202 Antenna.
• Radiometrix NTX2
• Maxim DS18B20 Temperature sensors
• On board cut down circuitry.
• Much smaller board than previous flight computer.
• Components will be predominantly surface mounted.
