About

AVA is a high altitude balloon platform designed by Anthony Stirk (M0UPU).

AVA’s “flight computers” are AVR based microcontrollers using Ublox MAX6 GPS modules , software developed in Arduino environment.

I run HAB Supplies a shop for electronic components for use in HAB and other activities and when I get time I’m the Technical Director of Nevis Computers in West Yorkshire.

Re: Not quite 5 minute guide to making an NTP Server:

Working on this build atm, had a difficult time finding Jessie June 21 2017, finally found it- RaspberryPi.org, although there are no obvious links to it on their website, so I thought I’d pass this along in case you want to add it to your article. The NOOBS version has Jessie Lite installaton option, the other link is full-blown Jessie. The archive folders are a couple of days later than the actual release dates but full blown version has actual release date and NOOBS is couple of days later due to time taken to create the package. Links, below, thanks for the great article, I was linked to it from David J Taylor’s great website, http://www.satsignal.eu/.

    Regards,
    jk
